The word is she's recording a new solo album featuring such artists as Chris Robinson, Matt Ward, Elvis Costello, Zooey Deschanel, Farmer Dave and boyfriend Jonathan Rice.

She is the singer for Rilo Kiley and she's previously put out a solo album featuring the Watson Twins.

Yay for song writers.

*Comedy you can dance to if you are recovering from self-inflicted Flight Of The Concords overdose. Their photo shoot is reminiscent of the childrens book, The Red Balloon. I like.

The Octopus Project: Hello Avalanche

I saw them this past week for $10 at a small dive in Denver.
They are from Austin, Texas.

Yvonne wears pretty vintage dresses even when performing-not just for photo shoots.

She plays a glockenspiel and theremin among other instruments.
I danced a lot and bought the vinyl.
